Cardamom Chicken
Intro:
A nice Indian chicken curry.
(Serves 4)
Ingredients:
3 T olive oil
6 green cardamom pods
1 red onion
Ginger Garlic Paste
1 1/2 chicken breast, cubed
1/2 t red chili powder Cups of Turkey or Chicken Broth
1/4 t turmeric powder
1/2 t Ground Nutmeg
Hung Yougurt
salt to taste
Directions:
I.Heat olive oil in a pan on medium heat. Add cardamom pods and onions and sauté until browned. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for about 1 min.
II.Add chicken cubes and sauté until browned
III. Mix in salt (to taste), red chili powder, and turmeric powder and sauté for about 1 min.
IV. Mix in yogurt and stir constantly for about 5 min.
V.Add about 1/2 cup of water and simmer covered for about 15 min or until chicken is cooked through.
